A passion towards perfection, Charles starts with selecting and procuring the most magnificent and sought after natural diamonds the world has to offer. Spanning across the globe, purveying each unique offering, our hand-selected diamonds are almost always recut to exacting specifications; shape, beauty, form, tonality, and distinct hue. Each diamond is individually scrutinized and passes through our rigorous hand-selection process. Charles carefully designs around each hand selected diamond in order to offer a one of a kind Precious Pastel piece. The Krypell Family is privileged to be one of the few design houses having access with an unbroken chain of custody to the exotic phenomenon of the Argyle Red, Pink, and Violet / Blue diamonds. These incredible diamonds are so rare, so pure, and so spectacular, and they make up each and every Charles Krypell Precious Pastel design. THE PASTEL COLLECTION
Each natural gemstone that is utilized in the Pastel Collection comes directly from within the earth. Exotic in color, beautiful in tonality and hue, our relationships with various gemological institutes and mines gives us the ability to procure spectacular specimens, each inherent with their own beautiful characteristics. Our precious gemstones are the best that earth has to offer, and each gemstone is a 'fingerprint' for the blueprint of a design that Charles conceptualizes around in beautiful 18k gold and diamonds. Magnificent crystallization in each pastel gemstone affords size and brilliance to be adorned into specially curated Charles Krypell Pastel creations.
Representing the blush blue water and softness of the ocean, Aquamarine is thought to bring safety, security, purity, and happiness to those who adorn it. Mined exclusively in South America, the aquamarine is part of the beryl family of minerals and is perfect in its layered crystallization and hue in the iconic Charles Krypell Pastel designs
Named after the iconic financier JP Morgan, the delicate, blush pink hue of the morganite is a rare wonder. This gemstone is part of the beryl family of minerals, and it's feminine yet profound in its appearance. Morganite is one of the only gemstones to have a natural pink hue to it (other than a pink diamond), thus extremely sought after, the color saturation of the pink is attributed to the amazing depths in prism crystallization and trace element of manganese.
An extraordinary gemstone that occurs in a variety of colors, the tourmaline is natural precious gemstone is most favored amongst Charles Krypell Pastels collections. It takes form in the varieties Rubellite, Pariaba, and Green color tonality. Mined throughout the world, most specifically in South America as well Africa, each Tourmaline represents a window into thousands of years of deep pressure, patience, and ultimate sacrifice. Vibrant hues and strong colors define the beauty of each tourmaline as well as a formidable crystallization structure that is perfect for fine jewelry design.
Widely considered the most popular and purchased
gemstone, citrine displays an incredible orange / yellow color due to the presence of
iron throughout its molecular structure. Natural citrine is quite rare as most citrine
is heated from amethyst to attain a yellow to dark brown color. Playful in its
appearance, neutral in its tonality.
Most notably referred to by the Egyptians as "The
Gem of the Sun," Peridot is formed from the mineral Olivine and has traces of zinc
throughout its crystallization. Peridot exudes grace, richness, and prestige, paying
homage to the various shades of yellow and green throughout. Mined throughout the
world, some of the best peridot is found in the middle east, most notably in
Afghanistan and Pakistan. Large in scale and richness, peridot is a perfect
alternative to the emerald color, due in part to its hardness for everyday
